THANKSGIVING WEEK HOURS
The office hours for Thanksgiving week and the week after will be as follows:
The office will be open the usual hours starting Dec 9 (Mon, Wed,
Fri from 10:00am-4:00pm). There will also be some adjustments
during Christmas and New Year's weeks and that information will be
posted prior to those weeks.
New Promotional Website for the Isle Dauphine
Tim and Alysia Story, the lessees of the Isle Dauphine Clubhouse and
proprietors of the Southern Lights restaurant on the 2nd floor of the
clubhouse, have created a new website to help promote the Isle Dauphine
as an events space. The site (www.theisledauphineclubhouse.com)
focuses on the clubhouse, and supplements the current main Isle Dauphine
new committee is in the process of attempting to contact all island property owners
for whom we do not have email addresses, in order to update the membership list
and ensure we have the most recent contact
info for you (mailing address, phone, etc.). We do not want you to miss out on news and notifications,
and most importantly - ballots for the Board elections each year!
If you know of any property owners who are not already on our list (who
are not receiving our emails or paper mailings) or for whom contact
information has changed, please encourage them to contact us at
firstname.lastname@example.org with the
info shown at the bottom of this webpage.
If you have not yet paid your voluntary dues for 2013,
please do so! Your support helps to keep our facilities going
(maintenance, repair, upgrades, insurance, taxes!). When you send in
your dues, you will be mailed a membership card. Show your card at the
Isle Dauphine complex for free access to the DIPOA beach. Make your
check out to “DIPOA” and mail to P.O. Box 39, Dauphin Island, AL 36528
or bring by the office at 100 Orleans Ave during our office hours (see
Contact page for hours).
Include with your check your name, email address, physical mailing
address, island address (if different from your mailing address) and
optionally, a phone number. The suggested dues are $100 per year but we
are delighted to accept more if you wish to give a greater donation!
Seeking Grant Writers
We are seeking people with grant writing experience to help us put
together proposals for Restore Act funds. We wish to submit property
enhancement proposals from both an environmental and economic
perspective. If you are interested in helping out, please contact us at
are now publishing all meeting agendas, minutes,
financial reports, committee reports, etc. to the DIPOA website and/or
online archives prior to
the open meetings each month. To save money (and trees!), we will not be
providing printed copies for the meetings. If you wish to have a printed
copy of the agenda or any other documents on hand for the meeting,
please visit our website the day before the meeting to print out copies
