Golf Returns to Dauphin Island!

The DIPOA has entered into a short term lease with Fundamental Golf to manage and operate 9 holes of the Isle Dauphine Golf Club.  This operation was made possible by volunteer efforts led by Dale Snellman of Fundamental Golf and William Harper, a local property owner.  They obtained donations from local businesses and residents which contributed to course restoration.  They also helped organize other volunteers to return a portion of the course to playable condition.  Their efforts are greatly appreciated!

Dues-paying members receive a discount on greens fees for the golf course and for the driving range.

Negotiations are ongoing with another management company to lease, operate and further improve the golf course at no cost to the association.

The suggested voluntary annual dues will increase to $150 effective January 1, 2015.  This was voted upon in the 2014 Annual Membership Meeting in May.  Membership dues are our most significant form of income to continue operations and repairs of the facilities.  Dues-paying members receive free beach access, as well as discounts for the Driving Range, Golf Course, Pirate's Pleasure Grill and Pool.

If you are uncertain if you have paid for the Fiscal Year 2014-2015, you may review the list of dues-paid members here:

If you have not paid, we encourage you to remit dues to:
DIPOA, P.O. Box 39, Dauphin Island, AL 36528.

You will receive membership cards to present to our facilities managers for the discounts.

Board News

The Board recently appointed two new members to fill the vacated seats of Sherri Rogers and Tom Bowden.  The new Board Members are Dennis Knizley and Sally Acuff.  Sally is now serving as Secretary.  We welcome our new Board Members and thank them for volunteering to serve!

Volunteer Thank You...and Opportunity!

The Board would like to extend a special THANK YOU to all of the volunteers who have played a role in repairs, maintenance, restoration, cleaning, picking up litter, landscaping and office support this year.  Without you, many of the recent activities that are bringing the Isle Dauphine back to vitality would have not been possible.  We invite anyone who has time, talent or tools to donate to call the office and speak with our Office Manager, Denise Maul.  There are ample opportunities in ongoing winter site maintenance and the Election Oversight Team will become active in February.

Community Information

In an effort to help increase knowledge of community events or issues that may affect property owners, we will be helping to spread the word about local community events or Town notices on this website.  If you have information that is pertinent to property owners, please email us at office@dipoa.org.
